I bring to the table my 20 years+ as a marketing and advertising professional as well as my personal belief that customer service and communication are both key components to building life long relationships with my clients, whether as buyers or sellers.
Education and Knowledge
My professional interests are constantly changing like technology. I update my industry education and knowledge on a regular basis, particularly when it comes to new, online methods to reach potential buyers/sellers. I have an eye for marketing and advertising and am acutely aware of achieving great customer service and what it takes to not only bring a client to the table but to retain my client long-term. Customer service and communication are especially key to me! Professionally, I network wherever I am, whether in line at Tim Horton's or attending my son's hockey or lacrosse games weekly.
My personal interests run the gamut from being a 'crazy' hockey and now a lacrosse mom too! I love biking, tennis, gardening, baking and spending time with my family. We love to play games with our favourites lately being Cribbage, Poker and Euchre!
Involving myself in the Community
I love being involved in the community! From volunteering for the Doors Open Oakville event for a number of years to being a sports mom (hockey, lacrosse and soccer, just to name a few, have become integral parts of our family), I try to be an active member of the community, to have my finger on the pulse of The Town of Oakville.
I am an Alumni Big Sister, having met my Little Sister 'Eva' when she was 7 years old (and asked if I could 'please be my Big Sister!' How could I resist?). Eva is now in her late 20's and I am proud to say we still enjoy each other's company and that she is a beautiful young lady!
A little about me!
Being an army brat has it pros and cons. Having always found myself in new cities, such as Winnipeg, or in small towns, such as Holberg (tip of Vancouver Island), I've had the choice of either becoming a part of the community and learning about where I was living or just being house bound. Well, I made the choice of discovering, making new friends and memories whereever I've been. As a result, I have an immense amount of compassion and empathy toward my clients, transitioning the selling - buying process. Buying a home or selling are probably the biggest stresses of a person's life - I aim to make the process as smooth as possible (and to add a certain amount of fun to the process)! I love to call Oakville home and have a certain propensity to helping my clients find their way around town - finding everything from a medical clnic to bakery/butchery to the local library or sports facility! That's why they call me the 'Oakville Real Estate Connection'.
