Imagine you and I are sitting down over a pot of coffee, the conversation starting with me telling you about the hours I have taken clients to see homes, not just in the Toronto area I might add, putting offers in, only to be told that the sellers picked an offer with no conditions, with a price 25-50% over asking. I most certainly can't blame the sellers, they are looking to get the most for their house. Sometimes these homes, and I use the term loosely, could be classified as 'as is' or 'close to being condemned' as I prefer to call it but, with little to choose from, buyers are putting offers in, buying homes with no home inspection clause for fear that they lose out on the house in 'just the right neighbourhood. Yes, there is a lack of inventory out there and, if you are at all thinking of selling, and want to get the value out of your home that you believe it deserves, it IS the time to list. Why wait another 2 weeks to see what the market is going to do? With more buyers than homes to choose from, this is definitely a SELLER'S MARKET! Call me today!
