Spring market is coming! And everyone wants to sell their homes for the most money possible.
As Real Estate Professionals, there is a lot of work done behind the scenes to market and sell properties. Here are a few last minute investments I think a seller should consider to help them do well in this spring market.
- Cleaning Service: Hire a cleaning company to come in and help you polish your kitchen, bathrooms and floors. The first impression when showing your home should be at its best; bright and clean
- Presale Home Inspection: A thorough home inspection will bring up any issues and defects that can be resolved prior to selling. Another advantage, if something major comes up we can adjust the price accordingly and provide the prospective buyers with quotes.
- Professional Property Appraisal: A formal opinion of value prepared by an appraiser.More sellers should consider this proactive approach. An appraisal is completed anyways on all properties requiring a mortgage, to have one done before a sale will help establish the most accurate asking price.Buyers will have a hard time negotiating us down from an appraised property value.
