I began my career in 1986 with Century 21 and when I opened my own brokerage I knew that it was the strengths of the Century 21 brand that would elevate my business to new heights. Century 21 is a progressive organization and this is my personal approach to my business.

I believe in being involved in my profession. I started serving on the Brampton real estate board in 1989 and I was the President of BREB in 2004. I had chaired the governmental relations committee and lobbied to government officials on housing and environmental issues. I have served on the Leadership committee to increase the level of professionalism and education for each member.

I endeavour to stay informed on cutting edge technologies in our industry to be sure I provide my team with innovative initiatives.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to have my sales team put their trust in me and I never take this for granted. I am fortunate to have such a wonderful group of people at the company, who share my commitment to give back to the community and to help those who have greater challenges in their daily lives then we all do.We have a program called "CARING FOR KIDS" that provides children from 5 local schools through co-operation with the school principals to provide for outstanding needs during the years and especially at Christmas. We were blessed this year to care for  15 families and 43 children.

Since children are at the center for most of us and having 4 children myself....schools have great importance.That is why we were especially honor in 2008 to provide the funds to buy the land to build a school in Kenya for the TENDER FEET CHILDREN CENTRE. What an opportunity our careers can provide us with!

Professional Background

 Joanne Evans, A broker and co-owner at Century 21 Millennium entered the real estate field after spending 12 years as a psychiatric nurse.  A single mother of four, she became a real estate agent because she wanted to increase her income to put her children through university. She is proud to say that all of her children went to university.

The immediate past president of the Brampton Real Estate Board, credits BREB with her success.

"Belonging to the local board gave me sense of community and support", Joanne said.

Even though she is busy with her own agency , Joanne is a co-chair of BREB's government relations committee> BREB lobbies government officials at the federal , provincial and municipal governments on housing and environmental issues. 

Joanne chose to work with Century 21 because she believes in the importance of training and education and Century 21 is known for its strong training foundation. She believes in sharing that knowledge with her staff.

"As a owner I am inspired by the opportunity to coach my sales team to achieve their dreams for both them and their families.  Real Estate is a great career that rewards the effort that is put into the job," Joanne said.
