July 1st to the 3rd celebrate at the Collingwood Festival for Canada! In the heart of historic downtown Collingwood you will find the traditional tribute to our great country. From 8am-10am pancakes will be served under the clock tower, when you finish walk off your breakfast with a stroll amongst all the unique shops stretching along Hurontario Street. You can even take a "selfie" with a Canadian Icon and you enter the Downtown Collingwood Facebook Page to win great prizes!
You will be surprised with the Strolling Entertainers that will lead you to all the festivities going on around you. Enjoy the Simcoe Street Farm to Table Street Feast & Art Celebration, the Children's Activity Centre, 7th Annual Rubber Duck Race, 30th Annual Kids' Fish Derby, performances by the Mystic Drums, Fireworks! and so much more. Beach Area One is going to be a vibrating hub of Canada Day Energy! Again Pancakes are in order, being made by the Wasaga beach Lions Club for a small fee. Be entertained as you dine with performances by the Wasaga Beach Glee Club, Dance By Design and much more.There will be loads for the kids to do. LIVE musical talent will join the Wasaga Beach festivities, Sarah Smith, The Desotos, The James Barker Band and Marshall Dame until 10pm, when the FIREWORKS display will light up the sky!
There isn't a possibility of boredom if you are in The Blue Mountains, Thornbury & Clarksburg area for this Canada Day Weekend!
