Collingwood Federal Building - 100th Anniversary Celebration

Constructed in 1915, the Collingwood Federal Building has seen many generations come and go.  Originally used as the Post Office and registration office for Ships, now used as government offices.  The glory of the building is it's design and architecture, from the marble to the stain glass windows and all the beautiful wood throughout.

On October 3rd in Celebration of the 100th Anniversary, from 10 am to 4 pm there will be tours and displays of artifacts through the great building.  Memorabilia of the RCMP and models of ships which carried the first NWMP officers (later renamed the RCMP) who sailed from Collingwood in October 1873 to Canada West. The Collingwood Federal Building is located just down the street from our Century 21 Millennium office in at 44 Hurontario St., Collingwood, ON.

This event will be Hosted by the Collingwood and District Historical Society.
