High Inventory Creates Buyer's Market in Saskatoon


 It appears that 2016 will be a Buyers' market as the number of homes for Buyers to choose from has went up as the number of sales have declined.  Even though the number of residential home sales fell by 14% in 2015, prices didn't drop significantly over the past year. 

In today's Star Phoenix,Jason Yochim, (CEO of the Saskatoon Region Association of Realtors - SRAR), says that "the market, which had a perfect 50-50 sales-to-listing ratio at the end of 2014 has shifted to favour buyers, with listings outstripping sales 60 to 40".


Saskatoon Real Estate Market Uncertain After Slow 2015

Saskatoon's real estate market slowed down in 2015, but at least one expert is concerned that the full impact of collapsing oil prices has yet to be felt in the Bridge City.
