I recently received the below link from Kelly Lantz on her facebook status for a video of a skit in a British Comedy show about a pushy Realtor. Being in the real estate business for many years I found it quite funny but I then realized that to some people who have had bad experiences with a Realtor that this is how we are perceived. This may also be what they are telling their families ...

History was made October 9 as NASA launched a $79 million dollar mission to crash a rocket into the moon to determine if there was water present. Mission accomplished as far as the crash goes, as NASA officials call it a "successful impact". Water, yet to be determined. Many of us watched as the rocket 'cam' inched us all closer and closer to the moment of impact. In those few moments came ...

The end of August is always a different time of year ! One week you are sweltering in the heat, enjoying the Gold Cup and Saucer Parade in Downtown Charlottetown for Old Home Week and then after it is all done...you are thinking about long sleeve shirts, jeans, backpacks and the upcoming fall.
Here on PEI most people always say "Well after Old Home Week..summer's over !" It is not the mystical ...

Recently a colleague of mine sent me an email with a blog post...
Hey Joel;
Thought I’d pass this along – not sure if you follow Seth Godin or not… he’s a big Marketing guru out of the US… lots of good books.
Anyway this was always a pet peeve of mine while I was in the business… people using the stats to be #1 in a particular community, etc… to me ...

Recently there was an announcement that a condo development planned for the Town of Stratford would not happen. The developer cites that potential purchasers could not sell their homes. This is an odd statement that doesn't seem to have any proof...Now I am not calling anyone a liar but in my own personal opinion that no potential purchasers of this condo were willing to put their property on the market ...
