When the two of us decided to buy our first home we decided to use John-Matthew Hogan as we had met on a prior occasion and he seemed like a reputable and honest man. While we began working with him it became apparent that those words didn’t do him justice. John-Matthew’s professionalism and straightforwardness made our house shopping go by easily and smoothly; and is something we will remember for years to come.

Throughout our five month search John-Matthew showed us homes that not only matched out criteria and esthetic desires he showed us homes that matched our personalities and future requirements.

During our search John-Matthew went on a well deserved vacation and we had the pleasure of working with his business partner Mark McCullough. At first we were worried as we had built a phenomenal relationship with John-Matthew and didn’t know what to expect with Mark Thinking back now I don’t know why we were so worried. Mark was everything we could have hoped for. He was not only knowledgeable and experienced; he was honest, friendly and professional.

The day we walked through our home we were with Mark and the three of us looked at one another and said in unison “this is it”. It was exactly what we were looking for and more. Even Mark agreed that it was the nicest home we had come across and it suited us to the “T”. Our first phone call was to John-Matthew to tell him we found a home and he was overjoyed for us. From that day forward both John-Matthew and Mark went above and beyond the call of duty by walking us through all of the proceedings, including finding us a home inspector, a lawyer, an insurance broker and mortgage broker.
We can honestly say that our journey with John-Matthew and Mark went as easy and effortlessly as one could hope. They held our hand every step of the way and never once pressured us to buy or settle.

John-Matthew and Mark started our as our realtors but they will forever be friends of our family.

My husband and I had relocated to Peterborough, Canada from Ireland and several friends referred John-Matthew Hogan to us as an excellent real estate agent. Although we had been home-owners in Ireland, the Canadian system was quite different and we really wanted an agent that would not only understand our needs but that would educate us on all the of outside factors of purchasing a home.
