I received my real estate license in August 1975. I have worked all of my real estate sales career in Victoria. I have worked in about 10 different real estate firms in that time and find that Century 21 offers the best exposure and services. It now has the best web site in all of Canada, getting the most hits than any other real estate site except www.realtor.ca. Apparently we are gaining on that too.

In 1991 I bicycled from Toronto to Victoria and in 1995 Victoria to Halifax. I have canoed down the Nahanni River (twice) and the Yukon River as well as may other lakes and rivers. I have hiked in Denali National Park in Alaska, the Chilkoot Trail, Mt Assinibone in AB as well as the Inca Trail in Peru. I love to travel and see new things and places. I find it interesting to see how other people in the world live.
Professional Background
Been Selling Real Estate in Victoria since 1975. I have a commercial designation as well as a licensed Property Manager. In my real estate career I have been involved with the sale of over 1000 properties. A lot of these properties were to first time home owners. I always say old age and experience will out do youth and vigour any day.
Personal Background
Married to Doreen and celebrated our 40th anniversity on November 25 2007. Have 2 grown sons. I was born and raised on a farm in Southern Ontario. I am the 6th of 9 children. Moved to BC in 1968, spent 3 years in Vancouver, 2 years in Prince George and the balance in Victoria. Spent 8 years in Banking before becoming a realtor. Although my first name suggests a Scandinavian Heritage, I have a Scottish Heritage with not a drop of Norwegian blood in me. Actually I am a proud sixth generation Canadian living and working in the best place on earth.
