KELOWNA, B.C. – October 5, 2016. Residential sales in the Okanagan slowed in September, with 884 sales posted to the MLS® as compared to 1020 the previous month, down 13.3 % from August but still a 25.4% increase over September of last year reports the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB). “While fewer sales indicate that the market may be starting to moderate, pricing and days on market are still relatively consistent, suggesting that our move towards a balanced market is likely to be a slow one,” comments Anthony Bastiaanssen, OMREB President and active REALTOR® in the central Okanagan. In order to fully understand the current residential market, and to look at trends within property types and vary price points in different neighbourhoods, it is important to consult with a Realtor®
The Value of Using a REALTOR®:
A REALTOR® has the qualifications, experience and commitment needed to make your home sale or purchase a fulfilling experience. Selling or buying a home is a complex procedure that involves large sums of money, stringent legal requirements and has the potential for very costly mistakes.
If you are buying a home, whether it's your first home or house number five, it can be incredibly time consuming. On the flipside, selling your home, a place to which you often have emotional as well as physical attachments, can be both time-consuming and stressful. It doesn't have to be that way, especially if you enlist the help of a REALTOR®.
As a professional REALTOR® with years of negotiation experience, I would appreciate the opportunity to assist you in one of life’s biggest single transaction.
