The average price for a home on PEI
According to the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), the average price of a home on Prince Edward Island in 2006 was $125,430. In 2007, the average price rose to $132,400. What can we expect in 2008? CREA anticipates the average price of homes on Prince Edward Island to rise by 5.1% to 139,200 next year. When you consider the national average cost of a residential home is expected to reach $322,700 in 2008, one has to appreciate the relatively low cost of living on this beautiful island.
