PERSONAL INTERESTS
I have many personal interrest that are near and dear to my heart! The top 3 that I contribute to are the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Camp Trillium, and Cancer Society.
The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario has saved 2 of my children's lives and intern has saved mine! For this reason as well as others I am a proud to participate in the annual "Trees of Hope" at the Chateau Laurier. This is an amazing evening to see! It is done in November and companies decorate a Christmas tree and have it there to display until early January!
Camp Trillium is a camp for families with children who have battled cancer. I know first hand how important this camp is to these families! I really can't say enough about this camp and what it does for the parents, siblings & children that have battled or still battling cancer! It is one of the few times you actually feel "normal", like any other family & the worry has been lifted. So it is for this reason I volunteer and donate to the "Camp Trillium Golf Tournament" & proud to say my daughter is an honourary chair for.
Cancer has battled with a couple of my immediately family members and I happy to say that cancer lost! Cancer affects everyone no matter age, sex, race etc... I participate in fundraiser walk-a-thon's a donate to help raise money for this sadly necessary charity!
