Five tremendous brass musicians — each a virtuoso and humourist in his own right — form the legendary tux and tennis shoes Canadian Brass. With an international reputation and dozens of best selling CDs, Canadian Brass has truly earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.”
Sounds amazing, right?
Tonight is their first show. Wish we could be there, but, my husband and I are hosting close to 100 people for a prime rib dinner (it's a fundraiser for the Casa Possibilities Orphanage in Mexico).
But, we have our tickets for the Saturday matinee. Still get to hear the Canadian Brass.
If you don't have plans this weekend, go to the Symphony! If you do have plans, cancel or rearrange them so you, too, can hear and see this amazing group. There's three times available, so one should work for you. Tickets are available online at KWSympony
The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony is still one of the greatest assets in our region, and yet another great reason to call this great city our home. Come out to this show, and you'll know what I mean.
