It was truly a joy to get a sneak peek at the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony's coming season last night. And it would also be a joy to attend the next event, too, but unfortunately I'll be in Montreal for the annual Century 21 Canada Convention.
Did I just say unfortunately? Slap my mouth!!! I've been looking forward to the convention for the past year. And who wouldn't love to be in Montreal in September? Well, I'm sure I'll love it. I may just have a little streak of homesickness for my favourite Symphony's Opening Gala that I will have to miss this year.
I have an idea! Why don't you attend for me and let me know how it went? Get your tickets today at KWSymphony This event will be a celebration of the new season, and a celebration of Kitchener's 100 years of Cityhood.
Last night, the KWS offered complimentary tickets to whomever wanted to come out and get a little taste of the upcoming music menu. A little bit of classical mixed with a little pop, with something for everyone. When I wasn't getting lost in the flawless orchestral melodies, I was having a debate in my mind about what type of menu item I enjoyed the most and I never came to a final conclusion. I can't say for sure. I just love it all. Of course, Beethoven was beautiful, but Pomp and Circumstance was hard to beat, too.
You get the point, it's all good. Like many others who purchased a season's package for the first time, why don't you consider the same? Kitchener's 100th anniversary would be a good night to start enjoying something that makes our City among the best in the nation with one of the absolute best conductors, too. If you haven't been out to hear the Symphony, please do consider it.
Ending on a happy note...
