Where to Buy in Kitchener-Waterloo

People often ask us where the BEST place is to buy in Kitchener-Waterloo.  It's simple, right?  Well, it depends on if you're an investor or looking for your own personal home, and it also depends on your needs.  There are 3 things that smart buyers should seriously consider at this point in time.

Uptown Waterloo or Downtown Kitchener.  People LOVE to be within walking distance from shopping, restaurants, bars, the Library, entertainment, parks, etc., and there are only so many neighbourhoods that afford this convenience.

Near Public Transportation.  Not going to lie, there are lots of people complaining about the LRT, but the people who live close will see a significant increase in their home values once it's done.  Looking for a home within a kilometer or two of the GoTrain and the LRT is a good move for buyers!

Older Neighbourhoods.  In a City that has seen significant growth in the last 20 years, there were loads of homes built in the 1990's and some new ones still going up.  However, there are no more building lots available.  They've already been purchased by huge developers.  There are some people who are obsessed with having a brand new (or relatively new) home, but many many others who love and appreciate the charm and character of older because there are only so many older homes, and most of them come with a bonus of a wider or deeper lot.

Okay, it's really not that simple, but that's what we're here for.  Call The Red Carpet Crew at 519.580.3505 to determine what type of area and home would best suit you.
