Professional Background

I have worked in the sales and marketing field for over 35 years devoting the last 14 years to selling real estate.  I have developed a keen sense of what savvy buyers and sellers expect from a Realtor.

Being a life time resident of Peterborough, Northumberland and the Kawarthas, I have a great deal to offer anyone wanting to buy or sell.  I am able to provide clients with knowledge and the true value of living in the many diverse communities in the area.   As well as Peterborough residential, I also focus on the rural markets specializing in waterfront properties.  I am an avid boater and traveled the Kawartha Lakes extensively. That in itself has proven to be very successful as I know and understand the lakes and the quality of the frontages my clients are considering to buy.

I am a member of the CARTUS Relocation program giving real estate aid to those both relocating into the area or moving to a different location.  Having studied with the Luxury Home Marketing Institute, I have been able to provide my sellers with professional effective tools needed for today’s buyers in this very competitive market place.  That along with the Century 21 Marketing Centre is a WIN-WIN combination.

Whether you are a first time homebuyer, re-locating, down-sizing or simply wanting a change, I know you will appreciate my  friendly approach, the confidence and professionalism you need for your all real estate needs.

I strive to be the best for my clients and work very hard for all, continually upgrading my skills, and by staying on top of current housing trends.  I have been a frequent recipient of many awards in recognition of my sales achievements and that is a direct result of hard work and dedication to my profession and above all - MY CLIENTS.

Professional Interests

My professional career as a Realtor has provided me with many wonderful experiences from selling Real Estate in the city of Peterborough to traveling the waterways of the Kawartha Lakes where I have listed and sold homes, cottages and vacant land on lakes from STONEY to STURGEON and as far south as RICE LAKE.  Each are very diverse and have a great deal to offer those who want to enjoy waterfront living.  The beauty of this area inspires many from around the world whether they vacation for a week or  stay for a life-time.

Personal Background

I was born and raised in and around Peterborough and have a lifetime of memories to reflect on when working with my clients.  Spending most of my childhood in East City was particularly special and it seems that if you ever lived there, you will have a strong desire to want to return.  As time has gone on, it has grown but still maintains the unique charm and character that I grew up with.  My parents moved our family to Omemee where I got a crash course on farm life and rural living.

When I met my husband and after we married, we bought our first home in Warsaw, ON.  After spending a few years in that area, we decided we truly loved rural life and proceeded to build a new home in Cottesloe just east of the village where our 2 boys thrived with having lots of space to roam around in.  Being outdoor enthusiasts, it wasn't long before the boys wanted to travel around to the lakes to fish, a passion that took us on a new adventure to Pigeon Lake where they could cast a rod from sun up to sun down.

We found very quickly that being on the Trent Severn Waterway, that having a boat is a must.  So, it stands to reason that we set out to buy something that gets us on the water.  After a very short period of time, we decided to take advantage of this wonderful feature of living in the Kawarthas being TSW.  We began to explore various regions and have traveled from Georgian Bay to New York state, and we found that being part of the boating community has given us treasured moments that we will never forget. Whether it's fishing with the boys in Buckhorn Lake, spending the weekend in Bobcaygeon at the locks or navigating our way through the entire system, it's all good.

Living and Working in the Kawathas is the best I could have wished for - a paradise indeed!
