Professional Interests
My professional career as a Realtor has provided me with wonderful experience of traveling the waterways of the Kawartha Lakes where I have listed and sold homes, cottages and vacant land on lakes from STONEY to STURGEON and as far south as RICE LAKE. Each are very diverse and have a great deal to offer those who want to enjoy waterfront living. The beauty of this area inspires many from around the world whether they vacation for a week or stay for a life-time.
Personal Background
I was born and raised in and around Peterborough and have a lifetime of memories to reflect on when working with my clients. Spending most of my childhood in East City was particularly special and it seems that if you ever lived there, you will have a strong desire to want to return. As time has gone on, it has grown but still maintains the unique charm and character that I grew up with. My parents moved our family to Omemee where I got a crash course on farm life and rural living.
When I met my husband and after we married, we bought our first home in Warsaw. After spending a few years in that area, we decided we truly loved rural life and proceeded to build a new home in Cotesloe just east of the village where our 2 boys thrived on having lots of space to roam around in. Being outdoor enthusiasts, it wasn't long before the boys wanted to travel around to the lakes to fish, a passion that took us on a new adventure to Pigeon Lake where they could cast a rod from sun up to sun down.
We found very quickly that being on the Trent Severn Waterway, that having a boat is a must. We have traveled from Georgian Bay to New York state, and we found that being part of the boating community has given us treasured moments that we will never forget whether it's fishing with the boys in Buckhorn Lake or spending the weekend in Bobcaygeon at the locks.
