Is your Alarm Permitted?

At a recent educational seminar I attended, the City of Kelowna made a presentation about home security alarm systems and I learned, as did many present, that no matter if your alarm system is company monitored or personally monitored, you MUST have a permit to have such a system in your home.

Did you know that?

If you do not have your system registered and permitted, it might just cost you an arm and leg if you happen to have a false alarm at your residence or business.

For more details, please visit the City of Kelowna for official documentation and information or you can see an unofficial summary here: http://apps.kelowna.ca/CityPage/Docs/PDFs/Bylaws/Security%20Alarm%20Systems%20Bylaw%20No.%209147.pdf.

What does it cost to get your system registered, a whole whopping..... $10-$15! Think it is worth it to prevent you receiving a false alarm charge? I think so!

Get registered and permitted today! Save your bank account later.

Keeping you top of mind!
