I moved to the Slocan Valley from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island about 13 years ago with my family. Years later I married a local Valley man and we started our own family. My husband Daryl and I have a little boy named Austyn. Austyn is the light in our lives and we are lucky to call the Valley home and raise him here!
My family and I love it here in the Slocan Valley and couldn't call anywhere else home! We live just outside of Slocan City on a small acreage with beautiful views of this breathtaking Valley. All three of us enjoy the outdoors and the spectacular seasons the Kootenays have to offer. Living so close to Slocan Lake and the Valhallas give us a great opportunity to do the things we enjoy such as climbing, kayaking, camping etc.
We love the area for its beauty, the residents, the diversity & everything else it has to offer!
