In the past week I have listed 3 properties so things have been busy since my return. I listed 1 other property since returning home however that sold within 2 days. The Saskatoon real estate market is busy but is also price sensitive.
The first listing is a lovely house for sale in Stonebridge. This home has too many upgrades to list but the millwork by Appl Custom Cabinets is amazing! 4 bedrooms, ...

So according the the Saskatoon Star Phoenix the City of Saskatoon is looking to add more red light cameras as they have found that the 2 that we already have on Ave C N and Preston Avenue have done nothing to decrease the number of collisions. I have been away for a month! We started our tour in Florida with my family for Christmas and had fun at Sea World this year. I was able to still do a bit of real estate in Saskatoon while in Florida but overall over Christmas the Saskatoon real estate market wasn't too crazy. Then on December 28th we were off to United Arab Emirates (UAE) and that was a very interesting trip. We only had 3 days ...

Typically December is a slower month for Saskatoon real estate but this year our market has been busy. I think it has a lot to do with the weather as we have had much warmer than usualy temperatures as well as much less snow so it makes looking at houses for sale in Saskatoon a much nicer and easier process than in previous years when we are battling several feet of snow and minus 30 or so temperatures. ...

I saw a face I recognized when I went online today to read today's news in the Star Phoenix as there was a picture and an article about a ga l I know who works as a Saskatoon Mortgage Broker. Chelsy Loehndorf is using skills that we see on TV which she has used to turn a few hundred dollars into thousands of dollars for donations to Saskatchewan families this holiday season. She turned ...

Real estate anywhere can be a very unsafe career path but especially for women. Even in Saskatoon's real estate community we have had assaults, rapes, robberies, etc. Safety is a huge concern and a huge topic within our professional community.
This morning I came across an article from ABC news in the US that also played several videos. It gave me chills and tears to read and watch. Since the foreclosure ...

While the Saskatoon real estate market continues to be a busy one the number of sales in the surrounding communities of Martensville, Warman, Langham, etc was down 5% from November 2010. In 2010 there were 75 homes that sold in the communities surrounding Saskatoon. The other notable decrease is how many properties were put on the market though as in 2010 there were 154 houses for sale in Saskatoon's ...

In case you haven't noticed, the community of Saskatoon has been changing with leaps and bounds in the past couple of years. I see it in Saskatoon real estate with the amount of calls I get from potential home buyers who are have a distinct accent. I have also noticed it in the Saskatoon homes for sale where we are now seeing more builders who are not originally from Canada.
Where Ontario was traditionally ...
