The London-area real estate market was as chilly as the weather in March. The London and St.Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR) said 612 homes were sold in March, down 20% from the same time last year.
New listings were also down 9.4% overall, while inventory - the number of listings at month's end were down 7.2%
St.Thomas fared better than London last month, with 50 homes sold there, the same number as last March.
Year to date sales are up 12.8% in St.Thomas, while the average year to date price home there stands at $198,548 compared to London where th average price is much higher at $241,756.
