Talks have broken off between Cami workers and GM Canada as the automaker has refused to offer the same cash it has to other workers.
The automaker is refusing "pattern" bargaining for Cami, its busines Canadian plant, as it did to its Oshawa workers, saying it wants to lower costs at the Ingersoll automaker.
"They will not offer "pattern and it makes no sense to us," said one worker, addints it's frustrating they're being offered less than other GM workers. Other GM workers got a signing bonus in each year of the deal, as well as a Christmas bonus, and a longer ramp to maximum wages, and Cami workers have asked for the same deal.
