Recently the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) conducted a study that indicated 70% of young Canadians between the ages of 18-29 wanted more information about the details of buying a home.
In response to this, CREA and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada partnered and made available a publication called HOMEBUYERS' ROAD MAP to coincide with Financial Literacy Month.
It's an excellent resource for first-time buyers especially, but would be great too for even experienced buyers who haven't purchased a home in several years. If you're interested in checking it out, go to www.crea.ca and click on the "Buying or Selling?" tab.
