Homeowners are still confussed with questions regarding the HRTC. The HRTC is a non-refundable tax creedit based on eligible expenses for improvements to your house,condo or cottage. You may claim on your 2009 tax return. It applies to eligible purchases after Jan 27/09 and before Feb 1/10.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

You and your spouse/common law and children under 18 years of age at the end of 2009.

Two or more families sharing ownership of the property. Each family can claim they're own credit that is calculated on it's own eligible expenses.

REMEMBER...............Receipts and documentation must be available upon request.
