Tips for showing your home

Flowers, candles and potporri look and smell nice.  Just remember, a little goes a long way.  If the scent is too strong, it can irritate allergies or people may think you are to mask something.

Likewise, any lingering odours, just as, pets or cooking smells should be aired out well in advance of a scheduled showing.

Some soft background music or the radio on low makes people more at ease.

Let the sunshine in! Open the drapes in the daytime and always turn on lights to project a bright, cheerfull atmosphere.

Assemble a binder with information that would be beneficial to potential buyers.  Include; any manulas for appliances, copies of survey, well records, septic info, receipts or dates when major updates were completed, i.e. shingles, windows, doors, bathroom etc.

If you have a fireplace or woodstove, light a fire.  Or, if it's a really hot day, make sure the air is on.

And most importantly   DDD ... Deep Clean, De-personalize and De-clutter
