My thoughts on the market are that we are seeing growth in every area. From single family homes to apartment style condos we are seeing more growth from month to month but also over last year.

With the first quarter over for 2012 we had a total of 375 sales compared to 344 sale since 2011 and 320 in 2010. Thats means we have seen increases of 9% in sales over last year and 15% over 2010.  Those numbers are good but what everyone must remember is 2010 and 2011 were years where we were rebuilding after the down years. Small steady growth is wonderful.

The biggest improvement I have seen over the past 1-2 years is consumer confidence, people are looking forward again and not into the past, spending money (wisely) and getting back into the life we all want for Red Deer and Central Alberta.
