Welcome to 2015. 2014 was a fantastic year in Central Alberta and hopefully 2015 follows in line with it. I wanted to take a moment to get you up to date on one of my favorite subdivisions. As you know every subdivision has its own quirks but Johnstone Park is fantastic. My wife Kelly and I live in Johnstone and love it here. From the friendly people to the numerous skating rinks this winter we feel at home. It fits our lifestyle very well. With its close proximity to Highway 2 in Johnstone we have easy access to visit friends and family in neighbouring communities. While only a few restaurants, you have to try Piccolo's Pizza on the corner of Jewell and Taylor, we are so close to many north end establishments. Other shopping on the north end consists of most major grocery chains and Rona. A lot of oil field workers live in the north end for its close proximity to the industrial yards. Most people who live here can be at work in less that 10 minutes.
In 2014 there were 132 sales in both Johnstone areas. 63 of them being single family homes with an average sale price of $351,664. In addition there were 29 townhouses with an average sale price of $220,911, 20 apartments with an average SP of $176,800 and 19 1/2 duplexes with an average SP of 304,679
