A new public elementary school is set to be built in the neighborhood of Inglewood.
If you don’t live in the Inglewood neighbourhood, you might not know about the Elementary School being built. What is now a park at the south east end of Irving Crescent and Inglewood Drive, will soon be Red Deer Public Schools site for the next much needed elementary school.
With the growth over the past few years (Red Deer population has just surpassed 100,000 ) and the expected continued growth, this school will take some of the pressure off of the existing schools.
The site was assigned years ago, as planned with the development. The school will be home to 500 students and is projected to open in September of 2017. This new facility will bring change to the school boundaries. When re-locating if you have children in elementary school, this is something to think about. Take a look at the location below!
