SEEMS TO BE THE DRIEST
SUMMER ON RECORD!
We have been farming for over 40 years and it is truly the
driest we have ever seen. Some of the "ole' timers" say
the same. Hard to believe that at the beginning of June that
the pastures looked so green and lush ( see picture below)
and that only a week into the month they were cooked!

With just a few weeks of summer time activities left before the
school season begins again there is still lots of things in the
area to visit. The Hastings County Farm Show and Plowing
Match is on just North of Madoc on August 24th and 25th. For
