5 things to consider when buying an Acreage

1) Water Supply

- Well water should be tested to determine if it is potable; it is also important to ask weather there is a good supply.

- Cistern: do you have a means to haul water or can you hire this service.

- Is there plans for a community pipeline for water.

2) Sewar

How old is the current system and is it up to current code.

3) Internet access

Is there currently service or what options are in the area.

 4) TV options

Satellite services are the most common, but if there are a lot of acreages in close proximity there may be other        possibilities.

5) Lifestyle

If your family loves the outdoors and needs room to roam then be sure the activities you want to pursue will work for the location; weather it is pets or animals or machines such as ATVs or snowmobiles.
