Professional Background

My professional background has been business management which includes a family constructin business as well as managment with a large department store.  I have varied experience with problem solving and negotiating as well as running numerous business ventures. 

My past experiences also include being an Executive Assistant for a large Provincial Crown Corporation as well as a private international company.

 

Professional Interests

I have been involved with associations relating mostly to my kids activities for the past 12 or so years.  Kelowna Minor Hockey, Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association, and the school fundraising efforts.  I also have been in association with the Girl Guildes and Boy Scouts groups in the Kelowna area.

I have volunteered for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation.

I also organize a fund raising dinner for the Easter Seals Camp at Winfield.  Part of the 24 Hour Relay Fundraiser.

Education

Real Estate requires us to take courses yearly to keep our licence current which I do.  I also take additional courses that I feel are of interest to my clients and will assist me to be knowledgeable in areas that I work. 

 

My formal schooling was done in Saskatoon as well as business college. 

I love Kelowna

I have been a resident of Kelowna for over 13 years.  I have watched Kelowna grow and change and take pride in introducing my clients that are new to the area to all that Kelowna has to offer.  I have a passion for achieving my clients goals and assuring them the ultimate results that they are seeking.  My commitment level and attention to detail ensure my clients satisfaction.

Centrally located in Kelowna, I am knowledgable on all market areas in the Central Okanagan Valley and am well versed on all types of property.  I will offer sound real estate direction to ensure a successful transaction time after time.  Meeting all your real estate needs with professionalism, honesty and integrity at all times  You can count on me to negotiate steadfast on my clients behalf.

 I have raised my family here over the last 13 years and are very familiar with all the recreational and educational avenues that Kelowna and area has to offer.  We enjoy the lake in summer and Big White in winter.  Being an avid skier and boat enthusiast thrown in with cycling, golf, kids and dogs, life is good in the Okanagan.

 Originally from Saskatoon, I will always appreciate the beauty that is Kelowna and do enjoy sharing that with others contemplating a move to this valley.   I always tell my kids that they are very fortunate that we moved here when they were young.  Took us away from family and friends but opened up many more opportunities for us as well.

Personal Interests

My personal interests include downhill skiing.  I have been a season pass holder at Big White for the past 10 or so years.  I also am very familiar with properties at Big White as I used to market them as well.

I do golf and bike around the Okanagan as well.  We also spend alot of time on the boat in Okanagan Lake. 

I also enjoy getting away in the winter to the Mayan Riveria in Mexico.  We found a great property there last winter and are planning to  take friends back this year.

Community Involvement

For the past few years I have hosted a Dinner Fundraiser for the Easter Seals Camp at Winfield.  They have all been a great success, raising in excess of $15000 for the cause.  I do enjoy planning and creating the evening for 100+ people who will tell you what a great time they have.   This year again we will be starting to plan the event which usually happens in spring time.  If you would like to purchase tickets or donate an item for our silent auction, please contact me at 250-878-2883 or kim.waldherr@century21.ca.

This year's dinner is planned for May 10, 2012  in downtown Kelowna.  We have a great evening planned with good food, great wine, entertainment, silent auction, draw prizes and much more.  Always a great time.
