Camping

With Fall just around the corner, what better way to spend the remainder of the summer than a camping trip? First, us Ontarians are blessed because we have over 20,000 campsites in our province. Camping is also relatively inexpensive and is a great way to unwind and spend quality time with family.

While camping is fun, however, but many people don’t know the essentials of camping, such as how to stay safe. Welcome Centre Markham North is holding a free workshop to teach you all of the important skills of camping, such as how to stay safe, pitch a tent, make a campfire, etc. The workshop will take place on August 7th from 3pm to 4:30pm at 8400 Woodbine Avenue, Suites 102-103, just south of Highway 7.
