On Saturday, October 19, The Cornell Community Centre and Library will be hosting a Project Management workshop for young women aged 14 to 20 with Rebecca Liu as the guest speaker. Rebecca is a senior manager at one of Canada’s Big Five banks and holds an MBA and a PMP designation.
For many in the business world, project management is a very important skill to have. It is a discipline that embodies the planning, executing and evaluating of a project that is used in various companies and fields to help drive projects and produce quality results. Even for those who haven’t entered the workforce, project management skills can help one manage his or her time and to complete tasks efficiently.
The Cornell Community Centre and Library is located at 3201 Bur Oak Avenue, near Ninth Line and Highway 7. The workshop will be held from 12pm to 4pm.
