Fall Festival for new Immigrant

Just because the mercury has been falling as of late doesn't mean that there is less to do in Markham! Welcome Centre Immigrant Services will be hosting a fall festival on Saturday, September 28, from 11am to 3pm at their Markham South Centre location (7220 Kennedy Road, just south of Denison, next to the Oriental Food Mart/Shoppers Drug Mart plaza).

There will be plenty of activities to keep you and your family entertained, including live music and performances, a variety of ethnic foods, henna drawings, face painting, creative balloons, game booths, a charity car wash, and arts and craft vendors. In addition, there will be a charity donation station accepting used clothing, electronics and household items, with all proceeds going towards the Canadian Diabetes Association.

All are welcome! There is ample free parking available.

Welcome Centre Immigrant Services is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and offers settlement services, language classes, employment advice and services, among other services.
