Hockey lovers rejoice! From March 18 to 22, the City of Markham will be hosting the 6th annual Clarkson Cup championships at the Markham Centennial Community Centre.
Named after former Governor General of Canada Adrienne Clarkson, the Clarkson Cup is known as the Stanley Cup of women’s hockey. The top four Canadian Women’s Hockey League teams – the Brampton Thunder, Toronto Furies, Montreal Stars and Calgary Inferno – will be vying for a chance to bring home the cup.
