Enjoy a scenic stroll through some of Ontario's most breathtaking parks and woodlands captured by Judith Livingston in acrylic and watercolour on canvas next week. Livingston, who was born in Woodstock, Ontario, and raised in various parts of Ontario as well as Vancouver, draws artistic inspiration from the great Canadian wilderness. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Canada 125 Medal by The Government of Canada, and is a very active member of the local art community.
The paintings, which are part of Livingston's "A Walk in the Woods" collection, will be on display at the McKay Art Centre, located at 197 Main Street Unionville, just south of Carlton Road, from October 3rd to 8th. The gallery will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm, Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Sunday from 12pm to 5pm and Thanksgiving Monday from 11am to 5pm. Admission is free and all are welcome!
