In celebration of National Kids Sports Day on Saturday, September 29, the Unionville Tennis Club - one of Canada's largest community tennis clubs - will be opening its doors to local kids between the ages of 10 and 18 and their families to take part in a tennis round and skills competition from 2pm to 4pm. There will be a number of prizes to be won. Coaching staff and experienced tennis jurors will be present to provide guidance and run the event. Whether you or your little ones are beginners or amateurs, this will be a great opportunity to help support a great initiative to instill good lifestyle choices by increasing the level of physical activity of Canadian youth.
The Unionville Tennis Club is located in Carlton Park, at the corner of Carlton Road and Village Parkway in the heart of Unionville. The club, in partnership with ParticipACTION, Sogoactive, the CBC and Coca-Cola, will also try to raise funds in support of a cancer recovery foundation. Come out and get active!
