On Sunday, August 18th, the Toronto/Buttonville Municipal Airport will be hosting the 4th Annual Rally for the Cure with CityTV Breakfast Television’s Frank Ferragine as emcee.
The event benefits the Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada to fund medical research into Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare cancer of the bone and soft tissue.
In the event’s itinerary are a car and aircraft rally, a treasure hunt, silent auction, live entertainment provided by the Emma Street Band, and an M&M Meat Shop barbeque lunch.
To take part in the rally, there is a registration fee of $125 per team, which includes a driver/navigator and pilot/co-pilot. The fee also includes admission to the barbeque and other activities. A $50 official tax receipt will be issued.
Tickets for the BBQ and non-rally events only are $25.00 for persons 13 years of age and up.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
The venue is conveniently located at the Markham/Richmond Hill border, just off Highway 404 and 16th Avenue. There is ample parking at 180 Renfrew Drive. Come support a great cause!
