For the explorer in you, Padova, formally a sanatorium and mental institution is a 181 acre vacant parcel of land with old buildings standing from it’s days of operation. Currently this property is guarded by a caretaker. The Padova property is a prime location for new development or a resort area as it sits at the end of the eastern bay of Kamloops Lake. There is very little useable land around Kamloops Lake because of the steep cliffs that surround the shore line of the lake. This is why the Padova property is very appealing to developers, it is entirely flat, useable land. There are currently plans to develop the site and the beginning stages have begun.
