Through my work as a Scarborough City Councillor; as a small business owner; as a high school teacher; and as a planning consultant to the real estate industry, I have dealt with thousands of people in all walks of life and income levels and have sold houses and properties to over two hundred first time buyers.

I enjoy working with first time buyers like you and I get a great deal of satisfaction in seeing people move into a home and leave behind the rental experience. I am known by my clients for my patience and determination in finding the right home and at the right price and ensuring customer satisfaction from intitial introduction to moving day and afterwards.

My real estate team speaks several languages, including Arabic, Danish, Hindi, Kashmiry, Persian, Punjabi, and Spanish as well as English.  

Over the past several years I have been very disappointed in the ability of first time buyers to obtain proper financing and as a result have recently put together an exceptional team of mortgage specialists who get results even in "hard to finance" cases. I can assure you that with 25 years of success in mortgage financing, this is the best team in the business.

I am presently developing programs to assist first time buyers that will be available in the near future - "Lease to Own" and "No Money Down" programs should be attractive to a certain segment of the market who want to own sooner rather than rent.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE:

With an Honours  University Planning Degree and graduate studies in the environmental and planning field; with several years of experience as a City Councillor; and having dealt with and approved several major projects in Scarborough, I have the background to understand the planning and zoning needs of developers and buyers of commercial and industrial properties.

Many development projects fail or never get off the ground because of a lack of understanding of the planning and approval process or without important contacts in the municipal or provincial levels of government.

With my  knowledge of the potential or best use of a property and how to maximize its use, buyers can expect to make wise and profitable decisions in the purchases and sales of their properties.  

I have sold and leased small businesses, land, factories and an assortment of commercial properties over the years and can offer you the benefit of my experience as one of the more knowledgeable commercial realtors in Ontario, especially in the Greater Toronto Area.

In addition to my planning and municipal experience in the Greater Toronto Area, I have extensive knowledge of the tourism, cottage and campground industry of Ontario. My background includes previous employment  by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Industry in South Eastern Ontario and extensive travels throughout the province as a former Executive Field Secretary of the Ontario Private Campground Association, as well as being owner of a successful specialty advertising business selling products to the resort industry. As a result of these diverse and valuable experiences, I am very familiar with the Ontario and its tourism industry and the uniqueness of different parts of the province in terms of planning and development potential.

I can effectively interface with planners and politicians as well as community individuals and groups to determine  the issues and planning obstacles to be overcome and can recommend best approach to maximizing the development and use of a property. This is part of my service when I sell a property for my clients.
