Lagoon City Turns 50 th

In the summer of 1963 it was considered to be the Summer of Love and if was famous for ban the bomb and burn the bra as sandals and love beads were the fashion of choice. However on the eastern shores of Lake Simcoe a engineer / developer has different ideas due to a beautiful sandy beach and a dream to build a resort community.   Now 50 years later we celebrate the success story of Andrew Zsolt's dream now a reality.  With his incredible vision unending determination and ample generosity, he was able to create a one-of-a-kind waterfront resort community, almost against all odds. Today  Lagoon City stands as a testament to what one man with a vision can accomplish. So on the eve of Lagoon City's Golden Anniversary thank you for making our community a great place to call home during all seasons of the year. Join us during the Canada Day long weekend for a formal reception, BBQ and 50's & 60's dance with Ronnie & Corvairs, Canoe Races, Volleyball tournament, Pig Roast and our famous Canada Day Boat Parade on July 01 2013.
