Intimidating, anxious, nervous, cautious just a few of the things that happen to the first time and sometimes repeat buyers. We as Real Estate people work with the papers daily, we are steeped in the procedures and we are in contact with others in the industry which tends to make a lot of the issues in buying a home second nature to us. Fly Fishing like Real Estate is an act of constant practising and learning.
Today was a day of practising and reviewing materials for my Real Estate Career. Found that I am enjoying the profession a great deal more so than in 2000 when I left the business. Really enjoyed the business however I found that I needed to concentrate on my family life more than the business would afford to me.

Whenever I work with potential Buyers I'm always surprised at how much homework they've done finding potential homes. Buyers spend a great deal of time on the Internet looking at homes for sale. I'm also surprised at how little they know about the Buying Process. Even buyers, who already own a home, have forgotten the process. Understandable since the Buying Process is constantly changing. At a time when real estate has slowed down, there are people bucking the tide and investing in real estate here in Prince Edward County. I recently looked into the viability of biomassas an alternitive. Now, a new listing ...

Biomass, as a renewable energy source, ...

I have the distinct pleasure of enjoying the winter because of my love of snowmobiling. I first encountered this activity over 20 years ago. Back then my sled was a heavy, cumbersome thing, my boots were never warm enough and my helmet was always fogging with my breath on the visor.
Flash forward to today and you'll find me sledding in much more comfort. Although I ride an ...

In rural locations it is not unusual to have hydro poles running outside the hydro corridor onto a property. But what many buyers and sellers fail to realize is that the ownership and maintenance of those poles and related equipment are the responsibility of the property owner. Failure to properly maintain the poles, lines and related equipment could potentially result in costly repairs ...
