Here we go!

So this has been a long time coming. Since graduating in June from Queen's, studying for one exam after another to become licensed and here I am. So what now? I will attempt to make this blog a three -fold kind of information source. In one sense, I want this blog to reflect the vaulable knowledge, tips and secrets leading industry professionals have used to further develop better results for their clients, ie YOU! I have an endless amount of resources available to me at Century 21, some that  have been giving me invaluable advice along the way which in turn allows me to provide the best service possible for my clients.

The other part of my blog is that I would like to document my career as a real estate agent. Recently licensed, it has been a slow but steady process. Over the past year I have learned so much from those around me. Time management, helping clients to the best of my ability and becomng a professional in this trade are at the top of priorities right now. Not only that but I have realized the grave importance of giving back to your community and helping those in need. I recently held my first event, a Valentine's day themed fundraiser for UNICEF. That experience definately provided me with extremely valuable skills I use everyday in my career as an agent.

On a final note, in my blogs  I would also like to discuss the progress of this city. As mentioned before, I have been a resident of Belleville for over 20 years. I have seen many changes in the city and I am anitispating the changes our council and governing bodies have in store. I love attending city events on culture, econcomic development and learning all I can about the "Build Belleville" program. I am also a member of the Friends of Downtown (a group dedicated to making downtown Belleville a beautiful and enjoyable space for all) and the Islamic Society of Belleville. I really want to get involved with new comers coming to the region because I feel like I am able to sucessfully connect with them on a deeper level of understanding and I have the skills and resources that will help make the transition as smooth as possible.

More to come

Nel :)
