Rocky Mountain House has been my home since 1986. I left briefly to attend school in Edmonton but was quick to return. I am proud to be part of this amazing community and raise my family here. Rocky Mountain House is a great place to raise a family, with amazing schools and a broad range of extracurricular activities for my children. I have also enjoyed being a part of this amazing community, I have volunteered on the Victim Services Board, Rocky Knights Soccer Association as well as sat on the board for The Autism Society Of Central Alberta.
Having joined my mother at Century 21 Westcountry in 1996. I continue to learn and love, real estate. I am a full-time professional sales representative, office manager, and accountant. For more on our office visit our website at www.century21westcountry.com

News Media & You
We are Inundated with Fixation of the Media to Concentrate their News Stories on Anything Negative. The Continuous & Relentless Huge Headlines and Cover Stories on Lost Jobs, Foreclosures, Shut Downs and Bankruptcies have made even those Unaffected, Scared. Yet, they (the Media) Do Not Seem to Focus on things like the Lowest Interest Rates in History, the Strength of the Canadian Banks, the Opportunities in Green and New Technology, the Vast Natural Resources within Canada, and those Businesses and Industries who are doing Very Well. But that's the Media!!!! While Negative News may be the Best Seller, it may in fact end up being the demise of the News Media as we know it today..............
I am glad to be a supporter of "A Good News Website" Local:First @ mylocalfirst.ca . This is a website that only features positive news articles. Anyone can join and post their "Good News" story. Honestly I think it is about time someone had something positive to say. Unfortunately people spend too much time focusing on the bad they can miss the amazing things going on now and miss opportunities.
