Your home is undoubtedly the most valuable asset for the vast majority of us and selling it will cost thousands.
Here are 3 basic things to remember when selling your home:
1. Research has shown that a poor presented home can take longer to sell and may reduce the price by thousands. Talk to your real estate agent about adding value to your property, it maybe worth spending a bit of cash to make more of a profit.
2. Be careful not to over spend, you might not get your money back so have that conversation with your professional agent about all your planned improvements.
3. Make sure your home is not overpriced. Seeing what other homes in the area are valued at through your professional agent should give you an idea of the current state within the real estate market.
Happy Home Selling.
