SHOULD I HAVE MY HOME RE-APPRAISED

Home Appraisals are relevant if you wish to sell your house. Generally it is the mortgage lender who pushes for home appraisal values before financing the buyer. Home appraisal values may be useful for the home owner who wishes to apply for refinancing or getting a home line of credit. Some influences on appraised value will be comparable properties, adjustments for house specific features, community, lot size, etc. Recently, many of my clients have been asking if I recommend getting a home appraisal.
