Hysteria
The press has the innate right to report of what the current events are or to simply express their views be it objective or subjective. However, due to the prevailing news of the economic downturn of the current global financial crisis, they have placed too much emphasis on the "report" of the diminshing real estate market. Albeit, failing to see the bigger picture, that is, during the winter season real estate does take a down turn. Due to the constant report it is creating mass hysteria. Even those that have the means or are willing to purchase are opting out. Let us not be hindered by this mentality. As we create our own path, we can determine where we are headed. We can better assess our situation rather than act like the mythological behaviour of lemmings or put it simply, follow blindly the leader in jumping off the cliff.
