Just returned from the Century 21 Canadian convention in beautiful Niagara Falls, one of the seven Wonders of the World. While there, I had some great food (if u can believe it). Massimo has the restaurant in the Crowne Plaza, and Jamie Kennedy has his Windows in the Sheraton. That was the fab part. Also exciting was Scott Stratten, a Canadian author and social media "guy" who was so funny, and so right on, and Chris Leader, who would be what I call "guru of go for it", a successful agent turned sales teacher who I found very inspiring. From them I learned to do what's right for u, confidently, honestly, and hopefully with some kind of fresh energy. Inspired an old girl. Another important lesson was the one I learned while trying to conduct some long distant business going down in the middle of this circus. And that is that there r definitely some agents that "dial it in". Exactly the opposite of what I just paid $400.00 to learn. And he wasn't from Century 21. All the people I shared some time with at the convention were there because they want to be better agents, and most of them had been in the business for years. "Can't teach an old dog new tricks"....yah, right!! As Scott Stratten would say "double exclamation marks"
OK Deepak Chopra, this career can definitely teach u some life lessons
