Is the internet going to sell your house?

How important is it really to have your house featured on the Internet?

Well, the public today has access to more information than real estate sales people ever had only 10 years ago.

Most people have access to the Internet now days either from work, from home, or even on their hand held device.  Everyone is very busy, so nobody wants to waste time going to see houses that are not suitable.  In a recent survey, 78% of homebuyers found photos on the Internet "very useful".  If you are like most people, you probably would not even look at an MLS listing with no pictures.

When choosing your real estate agent, have a look at their listings (current & sold) to see how they are describing the property, and most important, how are the pictures (how many and quality)?

Make sure your house is listed on MLS (Multiple Listing Services) to have exposure to all active buyers and their agents.

At Century 21, we have an award winning Website that allows us to promote your house on the Internet with 21 pictures.    Your listing is viewable from over 7500 other Century 21 agent's websites across the country.  We also offer an internet marketing package that includes registering your address as a domain (e.g. www.247vodden.com) for people to have immediate access to your listing, Google ad words to direct searches to your property, posting on kijiji.ca and Craigslist.com with photos.

This is certainly a good selling feature with lots of exposure!!!  Wouldn't you agree?
