It's a great time to shop for a home in The Blue Mountains

Here in the Georgian Triangle November is known as "shoulder season".  It's that time of the year when the boats, bikes and golf clubs have been put away, the weekend drives to view the colours of Fall are coming to an end, and the skis and boards are being tuned up in anticipation of that first snowfall.

One of the remarkablereal estate  trends we're seeing this year is the sale of homes listed at over a million dollars.  Speculation is that people are taking the equity from their city home, and perhaps a summer cottage, and buying one fabulous retirement property because this area truly is a year-round destination.

If you're not ready to retire yet but love the lifestyle this area has to offer, there are some excellent opportunities to purchase an entry-level condo townhome and build up some equity for when you choose to come here on a more permanent basis.

Starting planning now because almost everyone who comes to visit wishes they could come to live.
